Washington Times Notes New ‘Get Drunk’

From Ronald Reagan’s (and our) favorite newspaper, the great Washington Times:

Drinking game

Victor Morton

The conservative site Get Drunk and Vote for McCain was a favorite during the campaign, keeping abreast of Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain’s actions and words and judging them according to how much liquid courage would need to be summoned to back the frequently heterodox "maverick."

Because that title obviously is pointless now, the site has a new title, appropriate for coping with an Obama presidency: Get Drunk and Hope for the Best.

How kind of them to post about our new name!

  1. Impressive.
Kudos, Admin, Ann for the construction of our mighty fine watering hole, here.

  2. Yes, congrats and thanks! One thing we can get drunk and hope for right now is the election of Michael Steele as RNC chairman.

I finally registered. This makes me want to go north to New Hampshire for a packie run.

  4. Haha, congratulations to all of us! A round of tequila!

  5. Yup.

We’re awesome like that. Pass me some more of that subsidized rum.

    And Happy Thanksgiving!
Speaking of which, please pass the eggnog with a few fingers of VO, but easy on the eggnog…

I’m buying a new house and hopefully the Camelot effect of the first days of Baraq will inspire someone to purchase my current one. Drinks all around!

  11. Happy thanksgiving all!

Thank you for some fine entertainment and commentary…

Some Thanksgiving! Just love the news the past 24 hrs. Hope 4 the best? Sure with Biden’s words ( Being Tested) already in effect.
Anyway I shouldn’t take my frustrations out here. Even though I’m sure there may be some agreement here and there. I am glad this site will remain in tact. I appreciate Ms. Coulter purchasing the URL. Basically I appreciate her now more than ever. I think she knows it too. That’s why she’s making us all suffer until the end of Dec. for the new book release. I can hang in there. Can I hang in until 2012 ? With all the demented news this week, this tells me my salon will not have financial woes. What with all the gray, that I don’t have yet, but will soon get, thanks to Biden seeing the future that fast. Well I don’t want to loose sight of this happy moment of good commentary and communication. Congrats!! If only the comments to Ms. Coulter’s weekly column at the other online site could be as sensible. P.S. something should be done about that. Hope 4 the best! I’ll try.

The best from Obama will certainly be the worst from anyone else.

    I’ll just hope for survival.

You should try drinking while watching the O’Riley Factor and drink every time he says “the folks”. He does that as much as McCain said “my friends”.
