Poll: Obama, Hillary Are ‘Most Admired’

From those relentless seekers of the truth, at Gallup:

Obama, Hillary Clinton Share “Most Admired” Billing

by Lydia Saad

December 26, 2008

PRINCETON, NJ — A remarkable 32% of Americans choose Barack Obama as the man they most admire living anywhere in the world today, putting him in the No. 1 position on Gallup’s annual Most Admired Man list. Hillary Clinton earns the top spot for Most Admired Woman, named by 20%.

The sad thing is that for once Gallup may be right.

Apparently, womanly words now trump manly deeds – for both sexes.

  1. A couple of things to note… Familiarity undoubtedly plays in for double digit advantages, but in that it does not account for McCain at 3 points… Association with “winners” is undoubtedly the reason for the top spots.

Consider what the results would be (or even if we would see them) if the McCain Palin ticket would have won..

Anyhow.. I hang up on pollsters.. There are few alive who I could say I admire anyhow.. except those rare individuals like Ann, Rush, Mark Levin who call it as it is… oh yeah.. and our finest in the military

What a shock. I’m sure NBC,ABC,CBS,CNN,MSNBC,Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, People, US, Bip, Bop and Boo,
and every Lib commie out there, who can’t see reality beyond there own hand had a say in this Gallup nonsense. The day we admire a woman who was coddled and allowed not to be pestered, for her husband getting a (I’ll be polite) nose job in the oval office is the day you know this country is changing beyond us. Jason is fantastically right. Common sense would have shown up in this poll if McCain/Palin won. Because it would have shown the world that there are still these kind of Americans around. The kind who appreciate America and are not afraid to hold up their father and grandfathers memory. Those rare individuals, they are not afraid to remember this. That list of phonies in the first line, they just feed the American people this crap for dinner and expect them to eat it. Well all I can say is, as long as they realize that shady No.# indifference…Clinton at 20 and Palin at 11 is so made up that I don’t think anyone was polled. They just sat in a room and wrote up a list and put it out there. Baloney!!

@Jason, I hang up on pollsters too. I was listening to Bill O’Reilly today and he told this guy that it’s a good idea to hang up on them as well for a host of reasons. The one time during the campaign I gave them an answer they didn’t like, they suddenly became quite rude.
@BL-I don’t know who they called either.
