“Conservatives In Exile”?
How about, “Get Drunk and ‘Hope’ 4 the Best”?
It has a ring to it, it mocks the stupid “Hope” theme and there is some continuity to the old name. Then you can still rate all the stories with numbers of martinis and glasses of milk. Plus the snappy pictures in the corner would still apply.
And if in 2012, the GOP nominates another “moderate”, it’s an easy switch back to “Get Drunk and Vote 4 (fill in name of loser here)”.
But if the GOP actually nominates a real conservative, then it’s “Get Drunk after you Vote 4 (fill in name of the 45th president here)!”
PS My wife likes “Get Drunk and ‘Gird Your Loins’!” That actually has a ring to it too, plus it mocks Biden’s “we will be tested within 6 months” prophecy and we conservatives will have to do all the “girding” we can for at least 2-4 years…

I like the new name but — maybe it’s just my laptop — the new format is all over the place.
Haven’t logged in a while. All this Obamaression and Clinton re-corruption coming back, well it’s enough to make you a bonafide alcoholic. Get drunk, cry and then party like it’s Palin 2012. We will be Back!!! Hang in there brothers and sisters!!!
I started a new blog 3 days before the election on Blogger. The URL reads http://girdingmyloins.blogspot.com/ Just wanted to let you know that in case you want to use it. Of course it isn’t a registered domain name (just as a subdomain on blogger’s system, natch’), and you could use it if you wanted to.
It seemed a fitting epitaph for our next four (8?) years, and at 3 days prior to the election, I became more uncertain of our chances; so I figured, “why not”?

Looks like I missed a chance to cast my vote on the name change. I hoped you guys would have gone with “Get Drunk and Forget McCain” but now that I’ve typed it out, the name seems a little too defeatist.
I think “Get Drunk and Hope for the Best” is what made Vodka such a huge hit in the USSR.
