I think this boy has been told that he’s wonderful too many times growing up. You know how it is when (most) grandparents raise their grandkids, like Barry experienced. They obviously spoiled him.

And the spoiling continued when media first noticed him in the 2004 Dem Convention. He has been handled with kids gloves for so long that he thinks he can nominate his crooked Blago-types right under our noses and we’ll let it pass because he’s our Chosen One.

How much longer do we have to wait for him to grow up and take this job seriously?

He’s practically directing his minions to call their senators to pass this bill or there will be gruel and porridge for the next 4 years. You can hear the hard-sell in his voice. Every Democratic congressman I’m accidentally hearing on the networks for the last few days has been singing from the same hymnbook, saying, “If those Republicans don’t change their course soon the fate of the people is grim.”

Obama, Biden, and the Democrats in congress have really got a lot invested in slipping this bill through, it seems.

We should pick through this behemoth 647-page spending list a little closer, methinks.

The solidarity in the House Republicans is nice to see, however. And at least we have Jon Kyl in the Senate sounding a clear defense against passing this thing. Perhaps we can see the mounting of a dignified, principled, and motivated loyal oppposition. (fat chance, I know)

You are right, Admin, when you say, “Is he not claiming that his stimulus bill is a silver bullet? If not, why the rush?”
