He didn't say it was from Newsweek, at least not that I heard. He was discussing it as if he had heard it personally from McCain staffers. He brought up the towel (non)issue, saying that people found it "uncommon". Huh??? He was also talking about the things she (allegedly) didn't know about the Constitution, geography, etc. It's all over the left-wing commentary today. Seemed pretty catty for Carl.
