Merry Christmas. This is one of my favorite places to read online. I know I will need it in the next few years (especially being married into the military, I can’t even begin to describe how my husband feels about having to salute that yahoo). My husband’s first Christmas present idea for me was Ann’s new book. We are both sooo looking forward to it.

    Pax christi,

      Celina,
I feel your pain to quote “Bubba”. My husband feels the same way. One of my friends from high school has a nephew stationed at KMCB and he said “The One” has been doing his “daily work outs” there and trying to “fit in” with the Marines. She forwarded me one of his emails and he said that there are of course the usual suck ups but most are just fed up with him and his entourage being there and their being told they have “vacate the premises” (although a few are always allowed to stay and “the one” puts up a fuss about their being asked to leave) for the president in waiting.
      Pax Christi too!

  2. Merry Christmas!

As Celina noted, this little part of the net has become a regular part of my routine as well. It is good to see there are still folks with common sense and a belief that individual liberty is paramount.

    God Bless you all

Dittos to all and “God bless us, each and every one of us” – even the blue staters.

If you are looking for that perfect after Christmas present for yourself, I suggest the talking Reagan doll. You can find them on ebay if they aren’t in your local stores. Then every time you hear something really stupid (and I’m guessing that will happen a lot of that in the next 4 years!), go listen to some words of wisdom to help get you through it.

Here, Here, to all the smart, funny, proud, bright, never give ups I have ever known. Sometimes you’re best friends are the ones you don’t see or know personally. But you know they are there. My perfect gift to myself and everyone who logs in, is this. It’s very important, my heart breaks as I type this. As the third child of a WWII vet. My DaD served in Europe. If it wasn’t for that generation that part of the world would be sawdust. It is so important that their memories, hard work and perserverence be remembered and continued. It is so sad that the on coming generations can’t appreciate this. Or worse, they don’t seem to care.
You know when I first started listening to Rush L. and seeing Ann Coulter on Politically Incorrect years ago, I was like everbody else. WoW, I thought. Who the hell are they to be so brazen. They’re no different than the other side. A guy that’s been divorced so many times. A grown woman who’s just about in her 40’s, never married, no kids, no family of her own. They are the ones carrying on the conservative message? What is happening? People like Reagan, Billy Graham, Rev. Falwell, that generation, knew how to do it. They drew people in, because they were apart or the greatest generation. This newer crowd is a mess. But then, as I watched and listened more, and more. I began to see that, really, they had to be brazen and rough in they’re commentary. They’re personal lives may not be traditional like the ones who came before them. So they took they’re conversation elsewhere. In other words, they know this about themselves better than anyone. They know exactly what people say about them. But the beauty here is they don’t run from it. They know it. I think that in some strange way, this is they’re way of saying, this is why it is most important to keep Reagan’s memory alive. To know that he inspired S.Palin’s, B.Jindel’s, etc.
Because the oncoming generations didn’t do a very good job preserving America. She’s breaking and no one seems to care. But, this small crowd of Limbaugh’s, Coulter’s, Beck’s, Ingrahams,Hannity’s, O’Rielly’s, they do care and they are willing to put up with it. They did some funky stuff, no one is perfect. They grew up in the very late 50’s, 60’s, all threw out the 70’s. This is when America started to break. They know it, regret some of it, but also realize it was there time of Americana. They did the best they could, and caught themselves at the right time. They grew up and allowed themselves to accept what Pres. Reagan was trying to do for his nation. So it is my wish that on this day, slightly after midnight, Christmas 2008 is now over. The perfect gift is to realize what our grandfathers did for us. Be brazen, be rough and say “WoW, who the hell are they?” This newer generation of conservatives-THANKGOD!!

    • Glad to be part of the new breed of Conservatives that don’t take the crap the Left deals out.

It’s why Conservatives men are more than likely to actually have stable relationships with someone they’re attracted to: we’re the ones who actually ask women out.

As apposed to the people in my age bracket who prefer to live in fear and rejection than to actually ask out a girl they’re interested.

I have no real facts proving this (although something like “facts” has yet to stop the Left from saying anything), but I think it’s obvious that it’s these types that keep the online dating community going.

      Merry Christmas, Everyone ^_^
