That's why the headlines are trying to distract us with non-stories like: Olympic swimmer Phelps partying in S.C.; Christian Bale throwing a temper tantrum; Jessica Simpson's weight loss. We need to be hearing how we're going to respond to Iran's first home-made satellite (with ballistic missile-guidance components), N. Korea's test of long-range missiles, and Hamas' continued missile attack against Israel, but it isn't in the hearts and minds of the over-educated pansies we call editors, producers, and reporters in America's newsrooms.
