  1. Wow. This is a big turn-around from just 12 months ago, when I was hearing a lot of brash, young, black men saying that Obama “isn’t black enough.” After a year of hearing about this heretofore unknown notion called “American politics”, it’s nice to see they’re actually paying attention.

    Afterthoughts:
    1) It’s sad that they rushed through the chants that dealt with, “taking responsibility for our actions”, because I think they shouldn’t just blurt the words, but actually dwell quietly in contemplation on them. The health and well-being of their community depends upon it, especially in the face of black illegitimacy at 75%, illiteracy, AIDS, and high school drop-out rates at alarming levels, far worse than any other community in America.
    2) Obama doesn’t share a common African-American heritage with them, but I don’t think they know that (or care).
    3) Do they know that just because Obama promises health care plans, that [hopefully] it doesn’t mean he’ll get it through Congress if elected?
    4) Can you see the look on their faces if they don’t get what they want come November?
    5) Is the joining of their fists supposed to represent the infamous “fist-bump” between him and comrade Michelle at the nomination acceptance ceremony?
    6) Why do they think that it’s only because of Obama that they can dream of becoming a doctor, a lawyer, a chemical engineer, or any of the other professions they named? If they would get off the couch and quit playing PS3/Xbox while getting fat, they might learn that these professions have been more than available to them for generations, now, along with free scholarships to college because they’re black. But I guess the only reason that hasn’t dawned on them up until now is because cracking open a book is (gasp) “acting white”.

  2. snakehandler

According to Jonah Goldberg (presuming I’m reading him correctly), probably not the best pundit to reference on this site but here goes, this kind of orchestrated statement in black fraternities regarding goals and objects is fairly common and predates Obama. But I’m also with him that the chanting out by each of the individuals in turn of the Obama health plan talking points is just weird beyond words. I particularly like the line about “fostering increased competition.” Yeah, this is how it’s done, guys.

  3. Latinos4JohnnyMac

snakehandler, I have seen some frat rituals like this, but they never did it as part of promoting a candidate during an election. And the problem is that the chant of Alpha and Omega feels blasphemous. That’s from Revelations and should not be arrogated to a human being.

  4. Celina

Looks like Obama inspired a few of them to hit the buffet table pretty hard.

  5. aguado

I’m begining to really wonder if there’ll be riots when Obama loses.
With the fanatical followers this shyster’s managed to dredge up, the damage done to cars for having a McCain/Palin bumper-sticker, and the attack on a Fox news crew outside the DNC convention, is it really that hard to imagine?

  6. AmericanEagle

This is really creepy. We have to elect McCain/Palin even more so after seeing this. If these negros think for a minute that they are going to other than criminals and drug dealers this is dangerous to our way of life. Pretty soon they will be bringing this cult thinking to the mainstream and really mess up a great country.

Let’s keep them in their place, and keep this country what it’s meant to be a white christian nation. GO McCain/Palin.

  7. Whiskey.
    Tango.
    Foxtrot.

    That is all.

  8. Aguado:

That’s military alphabet. Put the first letters of each word together. I figured it appropriate given that we seem to have our very first “Soldiers for Obama” here.

  9. catie

Snakehandler, the first thing I thought about was the black frat thing too but figured they were too young. I used to remember them marching around the campus in military style clothing chanting and ranting.
Celina, I was thinking the same thing.

  10. Latinos4JohnnyMac

AmericanEagle, I support McCain but I don’t agree with what you’ve said about black people. McCain inspired me, in fact, because he spoke to the black community with respect at the Urban League and NAACP this year. I want to stay true to the fine spirit he showed at those times.

  11. catie

AmericanEagle, that is pretty raw, I don’t know anyone who feels that way at all.

  12. Catie, Latinos4, I agree with you. I was so taken back by what AmericanEagle wrote that I immediately began to think he must be a saboteur, trying to paint this site as some extremist forum full of haters. Admin, I wouldn’t be offended if you edited that post of his, perhaps even leaving him with a warning. Just a suggestion.

  13. Leon

I have never seen anything like this, a pseudo military group of black youths chanting the name of a mainstream presidential candidate in this country, reciting his manifesto. Didn’t Obama talk about defunding our military to free up funds for civilian military brigades? Sounds fascistic doesn’t it? The Black Muslims, Black Hebrew Israelites, and lots of other black cults also like to wear ersatz military clothing, berets, camo, tunics, and the like. This reminds me of that. Oh, but Obama, he is just a naive guy, but basically a nice guy, good speaker, but not prepared to lead. I’m not so sure about that.

  14. Mr.RightWING

This is disgusting. How does Obama inspire them? Condi Rice didn’t inspire them? Collin Powell didn’t inspire them? Any idiot can run for president — just look at Howard Dean. They have to look to a terrorist, B. Hussein Obama, for inspiration? What a bunch of weirdos. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen if they don’t get they’re way and if Obama doesn’t get elected.

  15. “They have to look to a terrorist, B. Hussein Obama, for inspiration? ”

I disagree with that, actually. I don’t think, honestly, he’s a terrorist. He may hang around them, but you tend to find people with similar view points to do just that.

I mean, doesn’t everyone hang around people who blew up buildings and never showed any sign of regret or remorse for it?

In all seriousness, he’s going to change this country in a direction you never thought possible. Change is part of his campaign promises, you know. And each of you can rest easy, because I know for a fact that he plans on keeping that one.

“Hope” on the other hand… ;)

Anyways, he’s just a really hardcore Lefty who is way too deep in the political machine and tends to always vote with his party. That is, except when he decides to vote “present” on risky votes. No need to assume he’s going to strap on some TNT and go after McCain if he loses the White House.

“I can’t imagine what’s going to happen if they don’t get they’re way and if Obama doesn’t get elected.”

    Detroit Riots ring a bell?

  16. Liberals Demise

Why don’t we run this video side by side with the brainwashed grade schoolers singing praise for Nobama and next to North Korean children singing the praises for Kim Jock Ick. Didn’t the Hitler Youth do this kinda crap for Adolph?

  17. Sorry Clown

    Where was this video shot?

I said it before and I’ll say it again ‘shot-gun shells and bottled water’

Aguado – Riots in the face of an Obama defeat wouldnt surprise me at all.
In fact I am kind of expecting riots even if he wins.

BTW: the video is ‘no longer available.’
I hope someone had the good sense to actually download it.
