AFP Says Negative McCain Lost Decisively
From the DNC’s Agence France-Press:
McCain goes for broke in final debate with Obama
by Jitendra Joshi
HEMPSTEAD, New York (AFP) – John McCain went for the jugular in his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama on Wednesday as the Republican sought a game-changing performance to sustain his flagging White House dream.
But instant polls by television networks said voters were dismayed by McCain’s negative barrage, with Obama declared the decisive victor in probably the candidates’ last face-to-face clash before the November 4 election…
McCain, down a hefty 14 points in one poll as the United States weathers its worst financial crisis in decades, savaged Obama’s ties to 1960s radical William Ayers and said his tax plans were nothing more than “class warfare.”
Keeping his composure, Obama in turn accused McCain of trying to distract voters on a day that New York’s Dow Jones share index posted its second-biggest points fall ever on mounting fears of a crippling US recession.
At the third and final debate, McCain, 72, said he did not care about “an old washed-up terrorist” like Ayers, once a bomb-throwing militant in the Weather Underground group who is now a Chicago professor of education…
McCain also assailed the liberal group ACORN, which is accused in several states of adding fraudulent names to pro-Obama voter registration lists, and chided Obama for persistently linking him to President George W. Bush…
Obama, 47, accused McCain of wildly distorting the truth over both Ayers and ACORN, and said voters were turned off by the “100 percent negative” tone taken by the Republican’s campaign at a time of rampant economic anxiety…
McCain adviser Steve Schmidt, the architect of the Republican’s get-tough strategy, insisted the Arizona senator had triumphed in the final debate…
But the post-debate TV polls told a different story. In CNN’s poll, 58 percent of respondents said Obama won the debate compared to 31 for McCain, with 70 percent saying Obama was more likeable. A CBS poll scored the debate 53-22 percent for the Democrat.
“(McCain) looked frankly desperate, he looked angry, frankly he did not look presidential,” Democratic Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm said…
What a coincidence:
Obama, 47, accused McCain of wildly distorting the truth over both Ayers and ACORN, and said voters were turned off by the “100 percent negative” tone taken by the Republican’s campaign at a time of rampant economic anxiety.
The AFP (and the rest of our one party media) just happen to be saying the same exact thing that Mr. Obama said.
What are the odds?

This is the problem with these liberals. They are completely incapable of admitting when they’ve lost, or when their own candidate might be wrong. I didn’t like doing it, but I admitted that McCain just didn’t bring it in the past two debates, but there’s no denying he was in full force last night. Anyone who actually knows the facts, knows that too.
Which leads me to another point. Last night I got into an argument with a liberal about some of the lies Obama told. I told him what the real facts were and he asked me to show him proof (because I always carry that stuff around in my back pocket). I countered by saying that I wasn’t going to do his homework for him, and that if he really cared to know the truth, instead of just wanting to just stay in his little bubble of Obama information where everything in his world was right, he would check it out himself. He took that as me not having any proof/there not being any, and declared himself the winner. Idiots.
Mac won hands down!! Obama touted the Jack Boot line he has always said. Lies, lies, lies!! The half honkey dude doesn’t fool me.
All of America is under that ones Tax Gun! The only time he spoke any truth is that he is for collecting more taxes. Distrubute your hard earned money to those who sit on their asses makin’ babies and selling drugs! We know how I’m talking about. If the truth hurts….so be it! Obama will be the world biggest Slum Lord if he gets (STEALS) the election. He will toss this nation down the shiiter.Get ready for sheets and cardboard in the windows at the Whitehouse.
What frightens me is how easily Obama sat there and lied, lied through his teeth about the abortion issue & taxes.
@Liberals-I’m tired of these poor people who have $300 sneakers on, cell phones, plasma tv and all the cable channels. Once upon a time when I was a teacher, I had a student who was on “free lunch”. Yet every weekend they were buying at $35 each-WWF events and boxing. Yet, they couldn’t find any money to feed their little darling. I am sick of the poor who have it pretty darn good.
What do we expect from European pansies like Jitendra Joshi? His typical bias is always on display, such as his last article describing the volleys in the second presidential debate: “But the Republican may have gone too far when, stabbing a finger in Obama’s direction, he said “that one” had voted for an energy bill loaded with “goodies” for Big Oil while he himself had opposed it.”

Just WHO gets their panties in a wad over using such inconsequential terms as “that one”? The liberal press, of course, as they trip over their scarves to gawk and squeal at real men like McCain.
This election will be won not by Obama, but by the sycophant, yellow journalists who protected and hand carried him to the finish line. The world as we know it is lost, and if the battle lines get drawn, I’ll be the first to enlist as a soldier on the other side of journalists, communists, and the weak.
Having said all that, I will definitely do all I can by voting for Sarah Palin and John McCain.
